Attention Vegans! There's an amazing new cookbook out and I've had a sneak preview. Feast your eyes on the two recipes I'm sharing pictures of below, for they are wondrous. We all need this book in our lives, quick smart!
First up, Banana Blossom with Coconut and Chile
I had banana blossom in a vegan restaurant the other day. It's not banana-y. It has a soft, pulled pork vibe going on and it blew my mind.
You know Wicked - you saw the news of Tesco launching a range of vegan treats at the start of 2018, yes? The chap behind that resounding success is Derek Sarno - Director of Plant Based Innovation at Tesco, creator of the Wicked Kitchen food-to-go range and Veganuary Ambassador. He's so good at food, his own recipe book was inevitable.
Co-authored by his brother, Chad, with a foreword by Woody Harrelson (OG vegan, all round legend) the book has many tantalising recipes. It was hard to decide which to give you a nugget of here.
