Seaspiracy

I was so proud to be commissioned to write a report for Best magazine about the fishing industry, after the global success of the documentary Seaspiracy.

Women’s magazines are covering environmental and animal welfare issues more frequently, reflecting a blooming wonderful change in attitudes of the general public. HOORAY!

Have you seen Seaspiracy yet? We can only hope fishing practise changes quicksmart, along with all the other reprehensible, rampant, ridiculous ways us humans have pilfered land and animals for our own benefit.

If you disagree with Seaspiracy or any of the details within it, please watch the two videos I’m going to share below. Filmed by two of my favourite, intelligent, sensible, well-researched vegans, they put to bed any attempts to dispute the contents of the documentary far better than I ever could.

First, here’s my contribution to the Seaspiracy swirl of stories:

And now, here’s Ed Winters to debunk the debunkers:

And here’s science writer and YouTuber Mic the Vegan:

Bloody love these guys. Absolutely dedicated to putting science, logic and compassion out into the world. And you really can’t argue with that.
