Potassium from the bananas, protein from the peanuts - and dark chocolate is definitely good for something. It’s a winner!

Good news for bad cooks - here’s a beautiful, simple, delicious recipe even I didn’t screw up! If Can’t Cook, Will Cook can do it, anyone can.

Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Banana smidgums - easy to whip up, easy to wolf down!

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

120g peanut butter - I used ManiLife because it’s creamy, rich and delicious, with nothing but a teeny bit of salt added.

85g dark chocolate

2 teaspoons coconut oil

Method

Slice the peeled bananas into rounds approx 1/4 inch

Place on a baking sheet (things get a bit messy, plus we’re going to put them in the freezer shortly)

Dollop a spoonful of peanut butter onto each banana boat.

Top with another slice of banana so you have a banana and peanut butter sandwich.

Freeze! For an hour.

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil when the hour is up - over a pan of hot water or in the microwave.

Dip each banana sandwich into the melted chocolate sauce or drizzle it generously on top.

Freeze! For another hour.

Your little slices of heaven are now ready to demolish.
